County to partner with a leading bank in the country
We need to build big dams on the higher areas which will tap rain water for domestic and irrigation farming at the low land areas.
Officials from National Bank have paid a courtesy call on H.E governor Andrew Mwadime at his Mwatate office and discussed on different areas of partnership.
Their talks were centered on partnering with the County Government in areas of Water, streamlining revenue collection among other areas of collaboration.
H.E governor Andrew Mwadime noted that water is the main problem facing the county and welcomed the partnership with the Bank to help in addressing perennial water shortages.
"We need to build big dams on the higher areas which will tap rain water for domestic and irrigation farming at the low land areas. We have very fertile soil that is capable of feeding our people," said the governor.
The meeting was attended by County Secretary Liverson Mghendi,Finance CCO Leonard Langat NBK senior regional Manager Corporate- Coast Mr Francis Righa,Regional Manager National Bank Mr. Dennis Muithya, Officials from Bondenyi National Bank Branch Maureen David and Manager Salome Mwanyumba.
