"Spatial planning is a key instrument for development and effective governance" Said Governor Mwadime
Many counties have not been able to have a spatial plan due to lack of effective tools, technical knowledge, skills, professional competence and facilitation costs.
Governor Mwadime urged the stakeholders to collaborate with the county government to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the plan since his administration has budgeted 10Million in the current financial year that will cover phase one and part of phase two.
The event was attended by the Deputy Governor H.E Christine Kilalo, County Executive Committee Members from different departments, County Attorney Mwakio Mwang'ombe, County Chief Officers, Directors, environmental conservationists and development partners among other officials.
